Grupo 7

I must admit I am not a big fan of Spanish cinema, but I must also admit that it is slowly getting better and better, and this film, Grupo 7 is a great example of this.

Grupo 7 tells the story of a group of antidrug policemen in the late 80's and early 90's in Sevilla, Spain who use methods very much illegal to obtain their information and find the criminals.

Starring the Spanish teen idol Mario Casas, this film is surprisingly well filmed and has a great opening scene.
The film's plot is not the most original of all and the film still contains the sort of decadence that surrounds all the settings in my country's cinematography, but it is enhanced with a texture and a feeling that this kind of cinema is getting better, and is being more apt to international praise.

I mark it 7/10, but am recommend it as a Spanish film which shows how the industry is evolving.
